Wednesday 10th: The year 8 tutor group that I’m assigned to for my Peer Mentoring was doing Secret Santa. My physiotherapist came into school and after hearing all about my diving she suggest to do some gym work alongside my diving – I’m really excited about starting that!!
Friday 12th: At 9am I left school along with the other members of the school choir and we went to Exeter Cathedral where our Carol Service is every year. We had rehearsals from 9:30 until 10:45, with the service starting at 11:30 and finishing at 12:30. It was great afterwards to walk out of the Cathedral straight into the German Christmas Market!

In the evening I had another diving lesson with my stand in coach, I continued to perfect my targets and got a ‘Hi Maddy’ from Andy Banks, Tonia Couch and Great British diver Rhea. After my lesson when Drew was filling out my learning log for my A-Level, he told me that Charlie might be back next week. He said he wasn’t 100% sure and I said that I don’t mind who teaches me.

Saturday 13th: After dropping the dogs off with the dog sitter, mum, dad & I went up to Kent to stay with one of my godmothers – we arrived early evening.
Sunday 14th: 6 of us went into London late morning and had lunch at The Shard – we were surrounded by amazing views!
Monday 14th: Dad went home as mum, my godmother and I went into London for a girly shopping day. We went to Harrods where I got my Christmas present from my godmother, then we went to The Wolseley for lunch – the food was amazing. After lunch we went to The Sting which is my favourite shop in London - we usually spend a couple of hours in there and I normally spend half my bank account!
Mum and I went home on Tuesday.

Wednesday 16th: I had a driving lesson and this time it was in the daytime – YAY!!!!

Friday 18th: Had another driving lesson in the daytime. Then I had a wonder around Plymouth before going for my diving lesson. It was my last diving session of 2014 and I was nervous as I didn’t know who was teaching me. I saw Charlie and he told me that Drew was going to take the session. I had an amazing session perfecting my targets even more. First jump off 5metre didn’t go too well – landed on my bum and it was very painful!!! But I got back up and jumped off the board again – I went into the water straight that time. After my session Charlie came out of the diving office to see how I had done and said he saw my ‘sit down jump’ off 5metre!
Bring on diving in 2015 and fingers crossed Charlie will be my coach again!
